SUCCESS STORY

Great and demanding D365 project in the UK

Curvy Wave

Recently, we had the pleasure of helping a major UK company upgrade their Dynamics AX to Dynamics 365 SCM. Due to the number of operations performed by the company, and thus an extensive suite of business processes, we faced a challenge and ... we are proud of our client's success!

Uniform system

We helped our client to reduce the number of systems supported by his company - by half.

Shortened the insurance claim process

So far, the procedure lasted four days, and now it takes up to 6 hours! This is a big saving for customers and the entire company.

Operational savings

Due to insufficient server resources, processes that were waiting to be launched even for several weeks are now started almost immediately - online.

All in one package

Our client's cooperation with other companies has become simpler and much more effective thanks to the possibilities offered by the integration of Dynamics 365 SCM, Office 365 in the Microsoft Azure cloud.

UPGRADE FAQ

Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions about migrating to a Dynamics 365 cloud-based system.

if you have not found the answer to your question, please contact us

Contact Us

Is the migration to the cloud a necessity?

No, but unless you are limited by geography and/or political circumstances and you don't need to store your data locally, moving to the cloud is your best bet. You also have the option of using a hybrid solution - use Dynamics 365 on the rented infrastructure.

?

How much time will it take?

Each implementation is different. The entire process usually takes several weeks.

?

How much does it cost?

The cost of updating is individual and is closely dependent on the size of your company, the business processes implemented in it, and your individual business needs. For example: if you have Dynamics AX 2012, moving to Dynamics 365 will require, at a minimum, a data migration.

?

Which versions of Dynamics AX can I upgrade?

Both: Dynamics AX 2009 and 2012 versioncan be upgraded, but the 2009 release requires a few extra steps.

?

Will operations be disrupted by the upgrade?

No. Dynamics 365 is deployed through LCS no matter if it works on-premises or in the cloud. The test environment takes precedence.

?

What about existing customizations?

Microsoft provides code upgrade tools to simplify the migration of custom code so updates are made through extensions. However, it should be remembered that the older the Dynamics AX version, the greater the likelihood of redevelopment of customization.
